Life today

I really want to use this blogger more often, and one day exclude any worldliness from my world wide webbing (such as myspace :) )
I have a really funny student in one of my classes. I have to hide my face all the time because I am laughing my heart out.
Please pray for me, I want to do God's will every moment and my heart is battling with some decisions. Pray for my influence with others as well.
I also need wisdom about my domestic life. just some thoughts

The picture is a moment that happened this summer. When I was working at the Basketball camps me, Jacob, and some other friends had the task of transporting goals from gym to gym (city to city). WHen we pulled up at an Arlington School a truck was in the driveway on top of a hugh rock. Ya know one of those decorative types. It was great because Jacob said this is something a teenage girl would do, come to find out a half hour later when the mother pulled up, it was. :) Great memory!

FOOD

Food from a Dennys next to our motel in New Orleans. Just a couple months before it was destroyed. I'm so glad we were able to go down there before that happened, I hope the good parts of the city are restored. I really just wanted to show off the food. I still remember that meal, I'm a sucker for french toast :) Posted by Picasa

ipod

My mom won an ipod over christmas and much to my surpise, unselfishly, gave it to me. I have really enjoyed it. It came to good use on the holidays. On the road from one state to the next Simon became a bit uncalm. We tried numerous things to calm him and he finally calmed down when we gave him the ipod to listen to <-
On a similar note. I have a student who claims they must listen to their ipod during class or they'll go "crazy." Crazy it'll be I guess Posted by Picasa

Simon chilling on Christmas Vacation. Simon was the star all week...and he should be. He's so cute now, he's learning to talk and he's even saying "Uncle Scott" much to my pleasure. It sounds like oncoo got :)
Please keep me in your prayers this week especially. I start my first teaching job at Sachse High School. I'll have two 10th grade Geometry classes then in 6 weeks I'll have a normal schedule of 4 classes. I've been blessed to have a principal and staff that works a lot with me. They're going to have me watching another Geometry class on some mornings for teaching ideas and I have a couple of mentors to help with lesson planning and parent handouts. I am blessed but I know that to whom much is given much is required. Please pray for my personal obedience and stewardship. I love you guys, Scott Posted by Picasa

Sleet Day

Hey fellers
I've been looking for a job, everywhere. Anywhere that wants a middle school teacher I'm considering so let me know if you know something... Please :) I've made some decisions and battling with more...life is hard. I'm glad to have people that care about me, sometimes you never know how lucky you are to have family and friends that care about you until you really need some encouragement and affirmation. Hope everyone is well.
