School Days

School is an interesting idea. We go, most of us, until at least the age of 18. The other half of our country till at least 22 and tons of others continue it until there 30's. Why? Most of you are probably saying to become a professional or to become a better professional. What about being? I get so caught up in becoming that I don't be. We need to look seriously at ourselves in our moments of becoming and think about what we're not doing because we're caught up in becoming.
What are your thoughts? I'm off to class....

As Matt's PR person, I would like to say that he is joking. Second, I like what you said about so busy becoming that you forget to "be." Reminds me of the books--The Tyranny of the Urgent and The Battlefield of the Mind--I haven't read these books, but it sounds like it might reflect part of them.
